My Books

Julie Margerison writes from experience, not theory. Her books are born from decades of inner work, real-life challenges, and a deep commitment to discovering what it truly means to live well.

At the heart of her writing is a simple but powerful belief: happiness is not something we wait for, it is something we consciously create.

In My Way to Happiness — It Gets Better and Better, Julie shares the foundational practices that transformed her life. Through affirmations, meditation, belief change, decluttering, courageous conversations, and daily intentional choices, she offers readers practical tools to shift from quiet dissatisfaction to genuine joy.

Her work is deeply personal yet universally relatable, an invitation, not a prescription.

Rather than telling readers what they should do, Julie gently guides them to explore what works for them.

Each book represents a chapter in her unfolding journey. And as her story continues to evolve, so too does the wisdom she shares, with future works, including Embracing My Uniqueness, expanding on the next stage of growth.

Because the journey doesn’t end.

It deepens.

It spirals.

And yes, it gets better and better.

Embracing My Uniqueness

Some doors we close for a reason — and for a long time, I kept mine firmly shut.

But in March 2019, the rug was pulled out from underneath me, and everything I thought I knew about myself and my life came undone. At the time it felt like my world was falling apart. Looking back, I believe the universe had far bigger plans for me.

What followed was the most confronting, challenging and ultimately transformative journey of my life. There were times I honestly wanted to jump off the rollercoaster altogether. But something kept me hanging on — and slowly, I began to understand why.

I started to see how much of my life had been shaped by unconscious beliefs, conditioning and patterns I had never even questioned. I had never truly known myself. And so the real work began — the healing, the unpeeling of the layers, learning what was really me and what never was.

When I wrote My Way to Happiness back in 2007, I genuinely thought I had all the answers. Life has a beautiful and humbling way of showing you that the journey is never really finished — it's a spiral, and it keeps bringing you back around to look a little deeper each time.

Embracing My Uniqueness is my real, raw and vulnerable story of coming home to myself. I wrote it for anyone who has ever felt lost within their own life — and who dares to believe there is a truer, freer version of themselves still waiting to be discovered.
